Glad to see he’s earning that $40 million

At least Loomis has his team mascot locked up. Wouldn’t want anyone to sign him when he’s such an integral part of the offense.

Bigger waste of cap space than Ramczyk at this point

Davis and Werner are both a waste of money at this point in their careers.

Played a few plays.
Got thrown for a loss.
Completed a pass which unfortunately was the second completed pass of the play.

I think injuries have taken its toll on Werner. Father Time has got Davis.

This fanbase is pathetic. Taysom came back 3 months early to help this pathetic team win a game (which he did). He's barely been used. Kellen Moore has the imagination of a baked potato. The carry he got today, Vele (our 38 year old, year 2 WR, we traded pick 100 for) was tasked in blocking a d lineman and he whiffed, resulting in a loss. That being said, it probably wasn't even our top 10 worst play of the day on offense.

What do you guys want $10M for? You want Loomis to throw more money at Chase Young, Bandin Crooks, and Olave types?

So you agree he isn't being used effectively. Kudos to Taysom for fighting to come back from injury, though he does look a step slower, but regardless of injury/age or scheme he is not currently worth near to us what we are paying him so we should trade him somewhere that can.

I wouldn't say he whiffed because he never really had a chance to touch him based off alignment. Only shot he had would have been to dive with arms extended at defenders knees

Chase Young Yes. His pay is not outlandish, and he is hustling and making effort and plays since coming back
Brandin Cooks NO. Dumb contract at signing, and progressively got worse after not hearing his name hardly during camp, and him not having an impact in preseason games nor through 7 regular season games
Chris Olave Yes. If we did not have worse contracts on the team currently like Taysom, Kamara, Cooks, Ruiz, Jordan then we could afford to pay Olave good WR2 money which is what he is. Problem we are in now is if we pay Olave market value then we cannot afford to pay a true WR1 due to the aforementioned contracts

He looks like he has concrete in his shoes. Run Taysom, let Taysom QB LOL. We don't have the Taysom from 3 years ago. We have the older model that's past it's prime.

Ok this is all irrelevant. No one is attacking your beloved mascot as a person. We know he’s a nice white Mormon guy who has a family a plays football hard. But we also have to acknowledge that giving a fancy fullback $40 million dollars is frickING retarded

Bingo,
It was hard to watch. Old Man Time remains undefeated!
Thanks GM for the contracts we are stuck with....

"fancy fullback"

QB
RB
FB
TE
Trick Plays
Special Teams-multiple roles
Team Cap

Sure he might not be worth $10M a year on a torn ACL, but he certainly was before that

Unfortunately his talents were mostly wasted on a dogshit team other than the last few Brees years
