Why does the Baton Rouge media have no teeth

I find it humorous that the national media is quicker to condemn and criticize BK than our own local media.
They had no problem going after Les, but ever since O, they've been in bed with LSU athletics and its disgusting.
When Paul Finebaum has bigger balls than your local guys, you have an issue.

In fairness to the local media in Baton Rouge, are there any schools where the local media really ask coaches tough questions and demand answers?

The press here is a joke they let Bk walk all over them because they are afraid of LSU. Hold him accountable, the one guy he yelled at should hammer him in every presser, he now has a free pass! What’s BK going do if that guys starts pressing Bk will either have to answer or stand there and get smacked because he can’t go back at him now.

Because you get your press credentials revoked. Sports journalism at the local level is not journalism when it comes to college sports. Those reporters depend on access to LSU to get scoops. Access cut off, no scoops. Sports is the only thing profitable in newspapers.

If you think the reporters are like that in Baton Rouge, you haven't seen anything like reporters in other SEC towns. Less than zero teeth.
