I don't think DJT has anything to do with it but that's really not the point here, is it? And are they supposed to advertise as a human trafficking operation or like many criminal operations are they attempting to disguise what they're really doing by fronting as you put it a, "rub and tug."
Regardless, all politics aside, downvoting the end of a human trafficking operation puts a person in my book as the last scoop of shite in the porta potty.

Interesting you ask. Operation Cross Country was started under the Biden Administration. It appears to be a more constant offshoot of Operation Coast to Coast which has been ongoing for a dozen years or so, but operates in a way that it has a couple of big joint operations a year with cooperation across many agencies and jurisdictions.
The FBI under the Biden admin had a big bust in 2023 under operation Coast to Coast that saw 200 victims and 59 children freed. It had other high profile cases under both operations.

There has been more than one big one in Texas under the same operation, I believe there was one earlier this year. These ops are huge and encompass departments and groups that specialize in trafficking literally all across the country. A whole lot of work has been going on with this for years, and honestly......reducing that work and accomplishments down to a president, any president, does a disservice to those who go to work on this stuff every day.
