15. Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU, Senior

2025 notable stats: 17 solo tackles, 1 INT, 5 PD

LSU's defense has allowed more than 10 points in just one of six games, and a transformed pass defense, led by this Virginia Tech transfer, has been the primary reason. After he shut down Clemson's T.J. Moore in the season opener, opponents have quickly caught on: His side of the field is increasingly a no-fly zone. His man has been targeted 25 times on the season. Those passes have gained just 80 total yards, and only five have come in the past two games.

He's been as advertised.

Always plays hard. Doesn't take plays off. Sucks you only get him for 1 yr.

What is more incredible is when dumbass Mike Shula tried to pick on Delane late in the last game. They tried going deep on him, which of course didn't work. Then, for the life of me I'll never know why, they tried to isolate him on that 4th down play. I laughed at the stupidity of that. I guess Mike Shula is still going to Mike Shula.

I have great love for Weeks as the emotional leader but Delane has been LSU's best player all year. Those transfer safeties have been outstanding as well.
