WOW! Trump says a donor offered to COVER payroll for our troops if money could not be shifted for their paychecks, as Dems use troops as pawns
What a PATRIOT.
Bi-weekly payroll for troops is around $6.6 BILLION!
It’d have to be someone like @elonmusk. Not just any billionaire could cover it!

This tells me they already know exactly how long the shutdown will last. At 12 billion per month, not even Elon would offer to do this unless they know how long it's going to last.
Of course, some folks already understand this. It's all according to plan.

When was the last time a private citizen lent the gov't money?
I know Disraeli got a Rothschild to lend the UK money c. 1870 (for Suez?)
Forward this to the Joo haters:

Haym Salomon (also Solomon; April 7, 1740 – January 6, 1785) was a Polish-born American merchant best known for his actions during the American Revolution, where he was one of the prime financiers to the Continental Congress. Born in Leszno, Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, Salomon studied finance in Western Europe before emigrating to New York City in 1775. After the American Revolutionary War broke out in the same year, Salomon supported the Patriots by providing financial services while working alongside Robert Morris, the Superintendent of Finance of the United States, and risked his life as a member of the Sons of Liberty, leading to multiple arrests by the British for espionage.
He helped convert French loans into hard currency by selling bills of exchange on Morris' behalf, and also brokered large donations to the Patriot cause. This included a critical $20,000 loan in 1781 that enabled George Washington’s decisive Yorktown campaign, a turning point for American independence. From 1781 to 1784, Salomon helped provide over $650,000 ($14.8 million in 2024). He was also an advocate for religious liberty by co-founding Philadelphia’s Mikveh Israel synagogue and challenging discriminatory laws. Despite donating his entire fortune to the Continental Army and several Founding Fathers of the United States, Salomon died penniless in Philadelphia in 1785 due to the failure of government officials and private lenders to repay the debt they owed to him

The Democrats want to attend the No Kings Protest. This entire thing is so Shumer can keep his seat from AOC. They will open back the Government after the protest.

JP Morgan bailed out the US govt twice, the second time he bought up the notes and was gonna make a call on them.
Teddy Roosevelt vowed it would never happen again and developed the straw man, which after his presidency led to the infamous Jekyll Island meeting where the straw man was further developed and eventually became what we know as the fed.
A ruthless man, but one of my all time favorite quotes.
In life there is the "good" reason and the "real" reason people do things.

He also scratches his arse, neither of which have anything to do with offering to pay for our military.

They do already know. I can’t remember exactly but it had something to do with the timing of expiration of ObamaCare subsidies.
