Kelly seems to be on a list of candidates for the Penn State HC job.

If Kelly leaves, would LSU promote Baker to HC even though he has no HC experience? All a HC needs to be is a good manager like a CEO. Hire an awesome OC and go from there. The team seems to play hard for Blake.

If LSU hired Baker I can hear it already after the first loss.

Question. I get blake baker is a good defensive coach. But what makes him the best candidate for the head coach at Lsu? Have we learned nothing?

Penn State just fired Franklin, not because he was a bad coach, but because he couldn't get over the hump. You could say that about BKs career to this point. Why pay $50m to hire a guy with the same resume?

Meh, I hate these type of HC’s. I’d rather someone that’s directly involved with one side of the ball whether that’s offense or defense.

Kelly isn't getting the Penn St job either just because random people have thrown his name out there. There have been at least 25 coaches mentioned for the job. I saw Blake Bakers name too fwiw. No one knows who Penn St is actually considering and you likely won't until the regular season is over

Curt Cignetti, Indiana's head coach, seems to be a hot name at the moment for a bump to a better school.
