LSU bars in Nashville?

Our group is looking for somewhere to hang out Friday and Saturday morning early before the game? Preferably with other Tiger fans! Any suggestions from veterans who have traveled to Vandy?

Went to Rock Bottom Brewery in 2019. That was fun. I heard it may have closed though.

Will be at LA Jackson Friday with a strong contingent. Probably Broadway after game.

Don't bother heading out to scoreboard unless you're staying out there or in that area already.

I don’t think it’s an LSU bar, but I recommend Losers and Duck Blind. Both are pretty close to the stadium as well and are more like Fred's than the Broadway bars.
Do Broadway Friday night just to say you did it. I always recommend a visit to Printer’s Alley near Broadway. They have an underground pub called Fleet Street which is a cool spot, and there is also Bourbon Street Blues Bar which will likely attract some LSU fans. It’s right off 4th ave up the street from Broadway.
Hit up the mid town bars near campus on game day.
If you're looking for a low key quiet spot, Old Glory is a cool "speakeasy."
For something different, there is an absinthe bar called the Green Hour that does chocolate and absinthe pairings. It's a cool experience.
Food wise, Peg Leg Porker is really solid. Quite a few good BBQ spots like Martin's and Edley's.
If you're looking for a nice dinner, I recommend Urban Grub.

Spicy Boys in East Nashville. Get there early. Small Louisiana restaurant/bar.
Owners are from BR.

There's supposed to be a pregame party at LA Jackson from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday.

Walk down broadway and pop in and out the bars. After a while they all seem the same. That list is pretty solid. I know they handle crowds all the time but it’s something different when LSU fans show up.

Do not go anywhere on Broadway/2nd Ave downtown, it's nothing but commercial tourist trap junk. Go somewhere in The Gulch like Neighbor's or Gumbo Bros or closer to Vandy like Red Door Saloon or Loser's. I'd even go a little more south of campus and hit Sports & Social Green Hills - it's a solid pure sports bar with big TV screens.

Pretty sure the Nashville LSU Alumni group is doing some sort of tailgate party on Saturday morning. Google em

The Local was the LSU Alumni bar for 2019. It was a good time.
Appears to have been updated since to the Gumbo place

I enjoy going to The Tavern when I’m up in Nashville on business. It’s located at 1904 Broadway. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Gumbo Bros is really good. My wife and I ate there before the LA Tech game.
