Sadly, it's going to take the tragedy of someone getting killed for shite to get done.

The piped in music after every play is driving people to gun violence.

More like making people want to kill themselves so they don't have to listen to it.

It's not music. It's obnoxious noise that interferes with PA announcer.

U do know LSU is part of BR community so shooting will happen on campus just as off, there is no magical force field to prevent crime from coming in campus

If you expect a university to shine a light on problems you’re going g to have a long wait.

Shouldn't BRPD be that force?

Dude, this is true, but I was on the other side of campus with my sidepiece. Had nothing to do with it.

I’m 49 years old, been going to games since 1986. Before this year, o don’t remember ever hearing of a shooting on campus during a game day. We’ve now had 2 in a month. I think that’s a pretty noticeable change

According to WAFB, the police chief, said it was a "separate event" on campus and didn't have anything to do with the football game....so everything is good

Culcha took over

For real though, went back this weekend with my wife and kids for our first game in years…we won’t be back anytime soon. Weed was everywhere, woman’s asses hanging out everywhere. Just trashy people everywhere. It was a travesty. I was stuck in highland at one point on campus and in the opposite lane literally right next to my vehicle in front of the union everyone in the car got out and a large group came over and just started dancing and slapping women’s asses around the car as music blared. Felt like I was in some 90’s rap video.

I'm older and been going to games since the 1970s.

First the obnoxious ones got the Union shut down on game day. Then it expanded to parade grounds and beyond, all along Highland Road.

I posted in another thread that there was a large group of AA guys and girls running south of S. Campus past the Ag Center like their lives depended on it.

This was before 5 p.m. maybe a little earlier.

No one has said if they knew why.

I’m amazed that LSU allows these dudes to sell vulgar t-shirts as you are walking down Victory Hill to the stadium.

It’s trashy as hell to walk down the hill and see f bombs on t-shirts. These clowns can’t be selling licensed merch, yet it’s been going on for years.

Where are LSU personnel to shut that crap down?

Too busy enjoying the water or beer purchased from the cooler of the licensed vendor up the hill from them.

Had one last year. LINK

There's been players involved in shootings, too. And drug arrests of players, fights, etc.

LSU sports has not been "family" entertainment for quite some time now.
