What is the last bite? Sandwich or chips?

(A distraction from all the LSU going down the toilet threads)
Was just eating a sandwich and chips and realized I always eat the last bite of the sandwich AFTER I finish all the chips.
Do you do the same or reverse? Or it varies?
If you do one way, why? I feel since the sandwich is the main part of the meal, it should be the last taste.

I always finish the sandwich first because I want to make sure I get all of it. I will graze on chips while eating the sandwich and then fill up on chips once it is gone.

It depends on the side. I assume you don't just mean a proper American chip, but fries, etc. that may come with a sandwich.
American chips will keep fine during the meal, but any side fried or heated will degrade faster than the burger/sandwich (fries, etc.) Fresh kettle chips seem to get better after they dry out and cool off a bit, though.

I put a good layer of chips on the sammich. Then finish off the rest of the chips after that.
