I live near an Air Force base that trains AMC pilots. We have foreign pilots from every nation that flies this particular aircraft here for training.

Congrats on reading headlines and not being informed. This has happened for years with countless other countries, it just doesn’t make the headlines I guess. The U.S Central Command is located in Qatar, this is strategic as we are only allowing them to use a facility on a current base. They won’t have free roam and will have many access restrictions.

You do realize that they are buying shitloads of airplanes from us and they are going to use this facility to train their people to fly the airplanes we sold them right?

Yes, I know that.. I recall seeing FRG pilots and facilities on USAF bases back in the day.
