When BK was lighting up Hankton, was that because of something Hilton screwed up?

It seems like that’s who BK was pissed at. As if he didn’t line up correctly and they had to blow a timeout. If so, not only can Hilton not catch, he can’t even line up correctly. He’s also one of only a few players constantly talking back to the coaches. He offers nothing. I wish the kid the best in life, but he’s been a negative presence so far.

Hilton is wayyyy in his head. It’s pretty obvious at this point that it’s mostly mental. Sucks for a guy like him, because mistakes only compound it

Didn't Hiltons Dad start talking on Social Media recently? If this is true it's not easy when your parents are telling you how good you are and the coach is stupid for not playing you.

Yes in a now delete tweet he griped about 3 targets in 4 games or something. He deleted that and has one up that says those thoughts were his own and don’t represent his son’s feelings. The only response right now is a guy from tonight saying “your son can’t catch a wide open ball”.

First of all, it was 2nd and 10. Just run the play. Probably was a running play in which a receiver not lined up correctly. Calling a time out there will get you an arse chewing.

Hilton has to make that catch but it was severely under thrown. 2024 Nuss hits him in stride and he's still running

Hilton just is not a football player. He’s fast, that’s it.

He’s soft, can’t catch and seems to always be making silly mistakes. Anytime he’s in the game we are throwing a deep ball. I thought we were “self scouting” this week.

Hilton is a guy who has been given every opportunity possible while at LSU.

For years we have tried to make him the deep threat we thought he could be. And he's never risen to the occasion.

He's a SR and still getting nowhere. I assume we'll give him a few more deep balls throughout this season just to see if it works but he's pretty nonexistent at this point.

We should be trying out Watkins on those plays to be honest.

The # of throws his way tells me CBK has moved on from him. Couple that with his dad talking smack + drops = transfer portal.

Wish him well as well but he’s just not a solid player for what we need right now

Isn't he a senior? Does he have another year of eligibility?

Like I sad, he has got to catch the ball. He still had to come back to it and battle defenders for the ball

Hit him in stride and he might still drop it, but would have been a much easier catch

I know right? Hit both hands and his body. Every power 4 receiver should catch that and the vast majority would have.

Slowing down a bit and having to come back for the ball are two different things. What game did you watch?
