I’ve been born and raised a Tiger, living most of my life in Virginia. I’ve seen the Tigers play a handful of times, just never a home game…

As luck would have it, my work brought me to New Orleans last year. Tomorrow I’m making the trip with my sons to our first home game in Tiger Stadium, against my Alma mater no less.

If you see an old man crying with his two college age sons, say hi.

Where in Virginia? Enjoy! Northern Shenandoah Valley area here.

I'm the opposite. Born/raised in South LA, former LSU student and faculty member, but have been in VA since 2011.

Have a blast and Geaux Tigers!

Get there early. Try to grab lunch at chimes if you can make it on the list by 11AM. Line up between the PMAC and stadium a couple hours before the game to see the band and team come down the hill.

Enjoy!

I’m native to Roanoke! I left there about 20 years ago. Hampton, Richmond area, NYC, and now New Orleans.

Small world.
