No good outcome here, but hopefully it wasn’t part of some terrorist plot.

This isn't terrorism. It's very possible that a factory that produces explosives had a major accident. Not far fetched at all.

I felt like this was implied in my “no good outcome” comment, which was me considering that Frank may have thrown his cigarette away in the wrong bucket. But… also as much as accidents happen in industrial and manufacturing settings, muzzies and antifa shouldn’t be ruled out until the dust settles on an investigation. Sadly, that is where we are as a country in 2025.

Apparently had an explosion back in 2014 as well:

quote:

In April 2014, one man was killed and three others were injured after an explosion at a building on the Accurate Energetic Systems property. About a dozen people were in the building at the time of the explosion, officials said in 2014.

That specific building was operated by Rio Ammunition, which made ammunition for hunting, law enforcement and the military. Officials reported that the building was "pretty much destroyed" in that explosion.

I imagine anytime you’re manufacturing bulk explosives there’s a pretty decent margin for something like that to happen just given the volatile nature of the material.

Let’s be honest…. Those 19 will likely never be found. They might find small pieces. The amount of energy that was released here is insane.

The imagery itself isn't all that impressive, but just the fact alone that it was picked up on satellite is impressive.

The blast was heard from over 20 miles away. And it was LOUD on the surveillance video.

19 missing, 1 possibly dead.

Pretty sure that means 19 people were obliterated beyond recognition, but we might have been able to physically identify 1 of the deceased.
I seriously doubt they went running into the woods and went missing.

I'm ignorant here, what do they build there that would blow up that well? I was picturing a small arms facility? Its not THAT big of a building so I'm assuming they weren't building something like 500 lb bombs?

I'm just shocked for safety reasons something this big could blow up.
