I’m sure the Teacher Unions had nothing to do with this

That's all very sad. And it rings true.

When it comes from a kid— it is sobering.

My mom recently retired from teaching Kindergarten, I told her to write a book on the changes throughout the year. Kids are sick more than when she started in the early 80s

Those are not the words of a kindergartener.
Sorry not buying it.

If you read her twitter feed you will see she is actually a reason the DoE should be dismantled, and kids get indoctrinated at an early age.

The thing is, teacher, that dad doesn't really matter either in the grand scheme of things. But at some point in a lot of kid's lives, you do matter.
The world she once knew no longer exists.

My wife is a teacher. They don't get paid enough and some people shouldn't have kids. I'm surprised the burnout rate isn't higher.

Her fond memories of how it used to be are what I remember from elementary school. That sucks what school has become with the federal government taking over education form states and localities.

People would still respect the good teachers. The problem today is, there are far too many radical woke-joke teachers who are only interested in indoctrinating children with their own insanity.
This teacher didn't address this matter, so I don't know if she was a radical lefty or not.

Compulsory has got to go....
...it did nothing for those that didn't want to be there and dramatically harmed the kids that did.

That is of course true, but due to drugs and broken (single parent) households these kids odds of being successful are dropping by the year.
Then even for the successful ones who do what they’re supposed to and graduate with huge student loans and declining job prospects they’re hitting a despondency wall post college because they feel like they were sold a lie and the American dream is dead for them.
It’s a bitches brew of failed feminism, generational welfare, globalism/deindustrialization, atheism and broken homes that is creating a toxic and I believe ultimately revolutionary American landscape.

Very well-said.

Did the teacher vote for this? If she’s a white woman in Denver, it’s a 70% chance.
Her assertion isn’t wrong, but if the above is true, it’s hard to empathize with her.
