Does anyone know where the Home Depot Appliance Warehouse is located in New Orleans?

Looking for a relatively new Home Depot appliance warehouse in New Orleans. This is where incoming appliances are kept and delivered to homes from in the regional area, so not an individual “box store.”

In need of a large quality of refrigerator, washer, dryer boxes. Single stores don’t get as many and crush rapidly, so that’s why I’m looking for the warehouse, where they process hundreds per week.

That is a good question since Home Depot and Lowe’s have cheapened their delivery network and are letting a 3rd party deliver their white goods instead of individual stores.

I don’t know about Home Depot, but when I worked at Lowe’s most of the freight and appliances would come in on the same truck from Valdosta, GA. Appliances came straight to the store and were kept there until delivery or pickup. I’m sure if you talked to the receiver manager you could get some boxes, but a lot of the times appliances stay in the box until delivery.

My guess is Harahan, but that is a shot in the dark.

In BR they used JB Hunt final mile, might use the same in New Orleans. Not sure you could order directly at the warehouse though.

If you do find it you're just going to walk in there and ask to buy stuff? They only sell out of the store.

If you have to go there you should really be asking if it is in a safe neighborhood.

I know where it is not located and that is New Orleans East so you can take that section off your map.

There are 2 large warehouses in Pearl River.

One is for Rooms to Go, and all their Furniture is distributed from that warehouse. Most of the merchandise on their floor is for display purposes. So if you go into a RTG, you order the furniture and it is delivered at home or you go to Pearl River and Pick it up.

The other warehouse is for AWG and Capstone Logistics. AWG delivers groceries for Rouses and other AWG member stores. Capstone Logistics also does retail and final mile home deliveries. So it may be them.

Amazon also has that new distribution center in Slidell, but I doubt they would white lable deliver for Home Depot.
