It's hilarious that women think they are some sort of prize.
Dime a dozen.

A wise man once said, don’t ever pull a gun on someone unless you’re ready to use it. Sounds like she did just that.
Some broads just need to see how much you want them and if you’ll grovel for them to stay. They’re called narcissists.

She can't comprehend that she was so miserable to live with that divorce seemed like a relief to him. Honey, I promise, if you drop the divorce bomb on your husband and he immediately just gets to the nuts and bolts of the legal portions, he was over you as well. Interesting though, he was still willing to go to counseling to at least give some effort to make it work where you clearly were not.
He wasn't lacking compassion. He was probably smiling on the inside that it was finally over.

Every woman wants to be fought for
but no man wants to fight you for yourself.

Those two words should not be used side by side in any sentence. Only if you place the words “complete lack of” between the two is it acceptable to use them in the same sentence.

If it's gonna be, it's gonna be.
This is likely not the first time its happened, so just get on with it.

Kinda reminds me of people who pull the "suicide if you leave me" card. Lots of times, they never actually go through with it, it's just another abusive attempt to control.

I mean, hats off to that young lad for having the stones to stand up to those tatics.
Just keep moving forward. Man I wish I had some of that grit in me.

Basically she wanted him to beg her to stay, frick that bitch. If you're done then why fight, I don't think she understand what I'm done means... Respeck My Decision!

"I want a divorce"
"WHY AREN'T YOU TALKING TO ME?!"

No doubt. It's impressive to be able to see with clarity through the emotions of that situation. Someone puling an emotionally painful card like divorce, self harm, etc. to manipulate you into behaving in a certain manner is not seeking to love you. They're seeking to control you. They are willing to sacrifice your emotional and mental wellbeing to fill their need for validation and control. This is narcissistic and is not loving in any way.

I would love to see a life update from this lady just to see how this all panned out for her since the divorce. I remember seeing a thread awhile back of a lady who wrote some opinion pieces on how awful men are and like 4 or 5 years later, she wrote another piece on how she can't find companionship.
