Streaming services are going down, streaming services will continue to increase prices to survive and then die.

Freevee got incorporated into Prime. You can still watch free stuff on there. Speculation that Pluto TV may be rolled into Paramount+ eventually.

Have you had any problems with malware with that? I've seen some complaints about that but I don't know if it's true

Amazon has completed the full shutdown of its ad-supported Freevee service, effectively erasing a once-promising entry-level platform from the digital entertainment landscape. The closure, which began accelerating in August and was slated for a broader rollout in September, reached its final phase late last night with the deactivation on Roku devices—the last major holdout for the service’s availability. This marks the definitive end of Freevee as a standalone offering, with its live channels now seamlessly integrated into the Prime Video app, signaling Amazon’s strategic pivot toward a more unified ecosystem.

Not that I've noticed. I use the BlueTV and BlueVOD apps.

I'm just going to point out- wasn't Freevee originally a bunch of movies and such that was on Amazon, to start with?
I seem to remember that being the case, and those weren't cut with ads. Then they rolled to the Freevee format, with ads.
Now that Prime (and everyone else) has moved to ads in their for-pay format, there's really no reason for Freevee to exist anymore.
We're really heading into a bad spot as far as entertainment nowadays. There aren't enough big new movies to justify that for keeping a service. There really aren't many TV shows worth watching on network, that give you 25+ episodes a season (to clarify, since I hate reality tv, there isn't anything like it used to be). Fine, that means there isn't a lot of new content in series coming to the streaming formats either (the way Hulu would snag older shows). And the new series on the streaming services gives you maybe 6 to 10 (at most) episodes, which flies by, and then you have to wait over a year for the next season.
I know some people complained about "filler", but for certain shows, I really didn't care growing up. I wanted to hang out and watch Magnum, or Miami Vice, or Cheers, and it didn't matter if it tied into shite down the road. You watched the characters. We really don't get that anymore.

Have had Hulu included in my Spotify subscription at no additional cost for a long time. Can't see Disney grandfathering people into Disney+

Which one do you use?
A guy on the Pelicans board talked me into it a year or two ago and it was one that was a referral base only and it legit gave my computer aids
I'd like to do ipt but that has made me hesitant.

Tubi is owned by Fox. I don't see them rolling it into FoxNation or the Fox Sports app.

Same, except for mine is included with T-Mobile. I gotta think that'll be going away.

Hoping this doesn't mess with any future season of Jury Duty. Think that was originally on Freevee. God that was so funny.
