Not really, what would be the possible benefits??

Nah. Feel like it’s a solution for a non existent problem. Golf is hard enough without over thinking it

Bryson is one of the most talented golfers on the planet and he is a bad iron player comparative to his game. His distance control is so off at times . I think it’s a terrible idea for a regular weekend golfer

i just choke up on longer irons to gain a lil more control

it seems to make sense. Same length (Let's say 5 iron length) Same set up, same swing for all your irons. Problem is between your ears thinking you need to swing harder or easier based on distance.
My brother plays the cobra set and likes them and I play with a scratch golfer that played the Edel one length and was very proficient with them.
Give them a shot. Can't hurt

Are they set up with different lofts compared to regular irons? Seems like club head speed would be sufficiently different on the ends of the spectrum, so gapping would start to get off. The ability to have one consistent length to practice the swing seems like a benefit.

My understanding:
With single length iron, once you nail your setup with 7 iron, all other setups are the same. No variable distance from the ball, no variable “back” in the stance, and so forth.

I've tried them with good success on two occasions. And here's what I liked about it - my mid iron play has never been better. I wasn't very long off the tee and had a number of shots where 5 or 6i was my approach. Being able to stand confidently over that shot and hit it flush was a lot of fun. Overall ball striking improved. My accuracy with scoring side of the bag dropped though. If I do it again, I'll go SL for 5-7 and VL for 8-GW.
I think Wishon Sterling SL irons are probably the best bang for the buck.

Yes, lofts are calculated based on length and average swing speeds.
It does take some adjustments to trust your swing.

I tried them. It did not work for me. I think I lacked swing speed sufficient to get a lot out of the shorter 5 iron, and I lack the precision to flush the longer 9/W.

I used a friend of mines set of King Cobras for a few rounds. I had no problem swinging them and my problem came from judging distance. It added 30 yards to my gap wedge play and figuring out the tempo to get the correct distance was too much of a learning curve for me.
