Oddly mine was the entire Unplugged set of Alice in Chains.

Now it is lifting, BJJ and improving my cardio.

Sign up for an Ironman or a marathon or something like that and do a few workouts hungover.

A guy that killed himself with alcohol and drugs helped you find sobriety?

I'm kinda aging out of it.

As a 58 year old, I can drink 2 or 3 beers and get the faintest hint of a buzz. But it's gone quickly, and I really don't care to drink another.

And I definitely don't want the hangover.

I'll still have a beer on the weekends, but not every weekend, and I don't miss it.

You never know how the message you need to hear is delivered and what form it takes.

You get really insecure in threads about people who aren’t addicts. Hmmm

I chose food instead of drugs.

Would have been better off with a coke habit.

Probably wouldnt have had the weight my entire life and actually had somethign women want.

Had to have the clearest possible head for a difficult fight we were going through.

I always had a bourbon or two just about every day, but I quit immediately and didn't touch a drop for seven+ months.

I dont have much sympathy for candyasses that can't quit if they have issues with alcohol.

People successfully quit every day.

Just got tired of it. At some point all the compromises you made with yourself catch up and its time for a change. Its easy to hide the drinking from others, but not yourself.
