I’m not positive the directive before the snap was “let them score”. And get the ball back to Patrick.

I don’t know, but a quarterback should be down in that situation. I mean, we all know what would happen if a defensive player were to smash him while he was on the ground. Yet, in the NFL, he isn’t down, but is treated like he’s down. That said, fk KC. I’m glad they lost.

He was never down. He had no contact with any player. He was Live. Twice.
The first time when he was down. And 2: when he ran.

That rule is so stupid in CFB that he would've been down (even though Eli tripping is still funny all these years later).

Brian Thomas Jr. Made the defining catch that got them there for the win.

Well 99 did a helluva job selling it if that’s the case.

I don't know if everyone was on the same page.

Watch 95 , he impersonates Albert Haynesworth and does nothing on the play, then thinks about doing something, then says, nah...

Thankfully it didn't come into play but if his knee or any other body part had touched the ground as he dove before the ball crossed the goal line, he could have been called down due to dives being treated the same as slides..

Hardly - Lawrence threw a dime right in his lap and Thomas almost dropped it like he’s been doing all season. The dude has board hands.
