Impressed with Kellen Moore

I am not sure if was by luck or by choice, but the Saints seemed to get it right with getting Kellen Moore over Aaron Glenn.
This team has steadily improved and been competitive now in 4/5 games they have played, and very easily could be 3-2 if we would've closed drives late in games.
With a rookie HC, you would like to see the team fixing mistakes and being at least competitive while losing because we all know that is the most likely scenario. Kellen Moore has the young guys playing well and the team being tough and focused each game. Very excited to see what the rest of the season and the future holds.

He is the definition of why you hire a young offensive guy instead of an old defensive guy. His scheme is really good. If Rattler was reading the field right all season, he would have a bunch of open big plays. Glenn is exactly what he was always gonna be.

Time will tell, but IMO the sentiment (and correctly so was the Saints needed to bring in an offensive minded (preferably young up and coming) coach to rebuild this team and culture.
Kellen Moore was one of the best young offensive minds in the game despite some low intel posters here claiming the Saints got stuck with him as a bottom of the barrel last ditch effort choice. ( seemingly because they didn't hire the first guy they interviewed.)
The team still has a long way to go but they are trending in the right direction. My expectations for this season have not changed at all, I don't care about the W-L column, (yet) I want to see young talent developing, players playing hard and coaches correcting mistakes. I want them to build this team to last, not just build it fast.

The Bills game was impressive.
We had no business being in that game and we were in it till the very end.
We played hard.

I’m optimistic on KM as a coach. Just hope the front office can do their job to give him a chance instead of firing him after 3-4 seasons of lackluster performance due to a poor roster.

Watched his locker room speech after the game. He’s very impressive.
Focusing on what matters, protecting the football and creating turnovers. That’s what wins in the NFL

Even in the blowout against the Seahawks, they still played hard. Special teams, penalties, and a sputtering O are what were atrocious. I agree with OP regarding Moore.

Moore really does have a great scheme and is really good at setting up plays.
Spencer struggles with accuracy and misses open guys pretty often. The timing for Spencer will come with time.
Hopefully the accuracy comes with him settling down from more experience.

The red zone problems are because of Rattler.Average QBs don’t have the It factor a good QB knows how to get in the end zone.

You would look less idiot by not posting dumb statements

He seems like a smart guy who also has common sense. He might need some coaches alongside him who are a little more vocal because he is seemingly pretty laid back on the sideline. But I could see him improving the offense a lot and and turning the Saints back into a winner.

vs Arizona - a Juwan Johnson dropped TD pass from tying the game
vs SF - a badly thrown pass that should have been a TD to open the game
@ Seattle - destroyed, but bad series of events unfolded the entire game
@ Buffalo - bad Olave INT, potentially could have been up going into the half
vs NYG - timely turnovers leading to a win.
Small things if you can fix, the team has growing potential at least for one week:
1. The OL didn't look like a complete cluster frick
2. Found a solid RB to be the next guy, maybe not THE guy, but viable
3. Solid receiving TE (Johnson) and 2 #2 WR guys (Olave/Shaheed)
4. Solid DBs to build upon overall, especially safety.
We still lack a lot - true #1 or possession receiver, elite pass rusher, future heir LB, and better CB play...but its something more hopeful than after week 3.

I love the saints. I really do.
It’s just so hard for me to get behind them and feel good about anything with Ratller at the helm.
I didn’t like him in HS
Hated him in college
Stuck with him now
I just keep telling myself it’s temporary

He lacks a ton of coaching experience, but he's a born winner. The experience will come. I just hope the fan base is patient. Moore will be a SB winning HC one day.

What I also like is that Staley is not scared to put his young/rookie DBs on the field in tough situations.
Sanker, Burgess and even KoolAid (at times) have learned to play on the fly and react.
were building a good defense.
Granderson has been an unstoppable force also. (except when Scattaboo steamed rolled him
