He's currently 18th in receiving yards and T15th in receiving TD's.

It's Marvin Harrison all over again. Feel bad for whatever receivers get passed over because another OSU reciever with crazy preseason hype gets all the roses.

If Hardy at Mizzou keeps up his pace, he will be in the mix with all the QB's scuffling
The Ole Miss QB is gonna be a good story to follow as well if he keeps it up

Don't be a fricking retard. Jeremiah is the best receiver in the country and every single team would trade their top WR to have him on their team.

Just like Marvin Harrison, huh? It's not like Malik Nabers wasn't better than him stats and play-wise in both college and the NFL.

Vegas has made billions off of idiotic delusional Ohio State fans.

Vegas knows that Smith has a pert near zero chance of winning the Heisman this year. 99% of college football fans know he ain’t winning the Heisman and won’t be particularly close to it either. They are counting on that 1% that is Ohio State fans, dimb casuals, and degen gamblers who will throw $100 or more or any name or odds they see.

Precisely why books aren't going to give you value of +2000 (or longer) for a dude coming off a historically great freshman and on the current No. 1 team. They aren't going to be on the hook for something like that just as we're getting into the conference season.

I am and its easy to see that the OP is a retard. Every single D1 coach would swap their top WR for Jerimiah because he is the best WR in the country.

To be fair this kind of thing isn't specific to OSU

I recall Grant Delpit winning a Thorpe award he had zero business winning

Delpit should have won the year before. Those type of position awards do sometimes lag a year late. I wouldn't really say that for the Heisman.

The only other 2nd year comparison that could be better would have been Ryan Williams, but he's a bit dinged up to start the year.

MHJr winning was a load of shite.

Go compare
The stats, not even close.

If it wasn’t for all the hype, and his name, he wouldn’t have won.

But the award should go to the wr with the best season, not the best wr.

2 totally different t things, although sometimes it is the same player.

It’s not that hard

Yup. Look at the Mackey Award last season. Harold Fannin clearly had the best season for TE last year by far and has arguably the best college season by a TE ever but they gave it to Tyler Warren because he lined up in the backfield and at Qb a hand full of times so it was all “muh versatility”

Nabers should have won the Biletnikoff in 2023 but this is 2025 so who is being overlooked? Not anyone on LSU I feel safe in saying. Just because a past WR from Ohio State may have won an silly award over a more deserving player (I assure you that’s not the first time it happened) doesn’t mean all subsequent Ohio State players are undeserving. It’s week 4 show me the top WR at the end of the season.
