What do you think would have happened if Democrats would have replied to the sombrero meme with something like:
“That’s hilarious El Presidente’. When you are done playing on the internet, let’s get back to work for the country.”
The complete meltdown was totally predictable. He owns them.

This is the correct answer. Their base is so insane now that the Dems can't afford to not act "outraged". Anything less than outage is basically "endorsement" to their crazy supporters. Their base would turn on them for "not taking racism SERIOUSLY".
