I voted Nay when it was for Biden and I’m Nay now.

Despite Massie voting Nay, the GOP House did pass Biden's last budget that included funding for waste fraud and abuse identified by Doge.

Politicians have been celebrities for a long time now. They need attention just like Hollywood.

How’s the polling looking for Massie? Are his approval numbers in his district still in the single digits?

If voting the right way gets you attention it's the right kind of attention.

I find it baffling how hard this GOP congress supports Biden's budget and still wants to fund the waste fraud and abuse found by Doge.

The package was a CR. If reps cut anything in the package they lose the “ifs just a continuation of the previous budget”. And the dems would have had something to target.

Now the Rs have the high ground and the Dems are defending the bill if illegal health care and tranny health care.

All while slumming it up in Napa at a 5 star winery.

Optics….politics is all about optics

IDK why there are so many "Don't Knows" here but Massie is leading the pack in approval numbers in this poll. The high number of "don't knows" is probably due to the lack of name recognition and the lack of attention he gets for voting the right way.

So we’re electing national Congressmen now? That’s interesting. I thought they had to run in things called “districts.”

I'm not going to do the work for you. You are welcome go on and defend your liberal spending congressmen all you want. I'm not going to do that for you.

Seeing what Massie thinks is about the last thing I would do today.

I just asked how Massie was looking in his district. One innocent question. Sheesh. For someone as beloved as Massie is, I find it odd that his constituents hold him in such low regard.

Call me crazy but the first step in achieving sane budgets is voting on sane budgets and maybe not voting for budgets that have put us in unsustainable debt.

Crazy thought, I know.

Correct. No actual conservative should be for this budget. If you are, you're just cosplaying as one.

It’s a brief CR, not the budget. The GOP doesn’t have a super majority. The Massie way of politics is how you lose elections. He’s going to learn this firsthand next year and then he’ll go become a lobbyist for everything he pretends to be against for Twitter likes.

Yeah, all those social media posts reflect a serious insecurity and need to be liked.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Yeah this is basic common sense. How is Massie's vote going to change diddily squat? We had DOGE and Massie and Rand thumbed their noses up.
I just saw a Massie 2028 poster. Or Desantis/Massie 2028 sign

Get real. Get through a primary, then change a got damned thing in the Congress once President. No.One.Can.

We are at flipping over the tables near lighting a match in the measure of GAF's in case you haven't noticed. Massie helps nothing.

So far, yes. Has not passed the Senate yet but the House GOP voted for it.
