Not to be confused with USAA's Gronkipedia.

Genuine question what articles have left leaning bias? I feel like it covers cold war topics with taste and I'd expect that's where you see it

I have good news. If you find an article that doesn't match your bias, you can edit it. Try it out.

Anyone/anything that's related to politics. Conservatives are often described as "far right" and "conspiracy theorist" gets thrown out alot

Just read about Jan. 6, the Russian collusion, and even people like Dan bongino.

Its terrible. And some topics they will lock down to avoid the truth.

It isn't objective and it doesn't reflect the aggregate knowledge of the public. It reflects the biases of those who obtained power.

Examples from the sports world: An Auburn fan became an admin and banned any mention of Grand Theft Auburn, even though it's an objective fact that there was an officiating controversy. Another mod removed the page for the Terrible Towel curse, which gained notoriety after several teams physically desecrated a Terrible Towel and then suffered misfortune, culminating in the Titans meltdown the rest of that season and into next season.

Short Answer: Wikipedia is pretty much nothing more than the cliff notes of the mainstream media narrative.

In theory it's editable by the public, but that's not how it works. The "admins" set the rules and only edits that follow the rules are ultimately allowed.

There are essentially 62 anonymous super admins that run the wholes site.

Wikipedia is just another form of reddit, a fake "public forum" site where allowed information is strictly curated.

Wikipedia is good for a quick overview/reminder on topics. and the math and science is great too.

the biggest problem with wikipedia is in then current events/social sciences/history articles

I have found a ton of inaccuracies in their articles about the IRA/The troubles. a lot of stuff that was just flat out made up.

This. The less controversial the subject, the more reliable Wikipedia is. If the subject matter is dry or non-controversial, it's actually a good resource.

Anything with subjective opinion or political overtones, it's absolutely awful. It has gotten WAY worse over the past decade as well. THe early iterations of the articles were way more neutral, it has veered left wing big time over time.

Even the co-founders admit this.
