So what part of REPUBLICANS CONTROL BOTH HOUSES AND THE WHITEHOUSE does the AP and other media outlets not understand?

Thinks because they control all branches, they can just pass what they want.

Since math is racist, we can't expect them to understand 51<60.

My understanding is this is a CR and you need 60 for that, right?

Technically,

Controlling both houses of Congress and the presidency is enough to pass whatever you want

You just have to get rid of the 60 vote rule in the Senate

The Constitution only requires simple majority in the house and senate to pass bills

Ive said this many times and always hear bullshite excuses, but the problem is that we the people need to elect better congressional representation. We are responsible putting those sorry pieces of shite in DC. That's a fact.
You might not like it, but there's no way around it.

Not sure you do either. Super majority is necessary to pass, especially if the D crap is added.

I don’t understand why anyone cares about shutdown. It’s only 10% that shuts down, and they don’t stop anyone’s govt. checks. The worst part may be national parks closed. I think most can survive this.

You're absolutely right, of course, the problem is we won't agree on which ones are the problem. Everybody thinks their congressman walks on water and the other guys are the devil. Even throwing out all of them doesn't solve the problem, just brings in new issues.

Wait, you are in SC and think your congressman walks on water?

The filibuster is there for a reason, and ensures no one party can wield absolute control. You may want to question your own thinking. Would you want the Democrats to have complete control just because they own a simple majority?

To shield RINO cucks, so they can act like they would vote, but darn it, you need 60. It’s always been a smoke and mirrors mechanism

Would you want the Democrats to have

I’ve never bought into the notion of being afraid of some future hypothetical at the expense of doing what’s right, right now. The Dems will do that very thing if they ever get 51-53, do you think the Dems won’t do the very thing you fear?

Always respectfully correct your retarded Facebook friends. You will never change their mind, but you aren't speaking to them. You're speaking to the fence sitting retards reading the posts that might learn something.
