I agree with everyone that the trajectory for this team is concerning….i agree Nuss shouldnt have played the entire last game if he was hurt.

However, this defense is still elite. Let’s hope some changes are made over the bye and we see some improvements on offense. Im with everyone who would like to see Sloan replaced and some changes on the oline, but im also here to watch and support as this season plays out.

then your memory is not that good, or you are very young.

this one hurts when the obvious play was to change qb's at halftime, at least give the other kid a couple series. Nuss couldn't run, couldn't pass, and was making some bad decisions. it was terribly frustrating.

I don't think it's sunk in for you yet just how bad LSU's offense is.

Not sure I'd call this defense elite anymore. they were on the field too much, Ole Miss offense is very good, so everything isn't their fault. However, they're lucky they didn't get 40+ points piled on them. They gave up too many big plays, had no answer for the QB's running ability, converted third-downs at will, LSU was aided by a lucky fumble forced into the end zone, etc. and had the game on the line to give it back to LSU's offense to win couldn't do it. TE could've scored on that play as well. Baker got out schemed in this game hard there's no if ands or buts about that. You can complain about offense is the reason we lost the game - which is true - but he still looked baffled on the sidelines to find answers himself. Defense is very good and I'd think if they had any offense it's more than good enough to slide you into a championship but I'm not ready to call them "elite". Elite is the 2011 defense which this ain't it.

LSU's offense is not going to get significantly better or fixed. It's best to accept the most you will see from them is get better because they can't get worse.

Many are frustrated—one poor decision cost LSU the game, and continued stubbornness could ruin their season. Repeated excuses about coaching and preparation have become tiresome.

Somewhat but once Ole Miss figured out offense we dead, then it could open up the play book and take some bet/chances.

If LSU offense had a pulse, then the playbook stays limited.

tRant is going wild because of what we are promised and what we are getting makes for a yuuuuuge difference. CBK may not be straight up lying to us but he is bending the truth. We see what we see, which is a handicapped offense with not much of a chance for improvement.

But, I am still pulling for my tigers!

4 games is a trend. Hard for the most positive fans to disagree with that.

Multiple seasons without a real running game outside of the QB is alarming.

To me the play calling was the most frustrating. Nuss is clearly hampered and needs to heal but I am so tired of people not understanding how bad the offensive scheme and play calling is. IDC if there is an open receiver on a handful of plays that gets missed. That happens every week with every team. There is no flow to the offense, there is no play synched together, there is no cohesion. This is a terrible offensive system that is broken. Putting MVB doesn't solve that issue. Because last year the offensive system was a mess, the difference was that Nuss was healthy and bailed out the offense with some unreal throws. We also had an NFL caliber offensive line that gave Nuss plenty of time to throw. But the scheme and the offensive system was as bad then as it is now. We are just throwing more screens.
