Will Waller be the top target to add this week?

I’m going after him for sure. My TE is Ferguson but I think Waller is basically a WR that can be put in at flex

If he’s anything like the old Darren Waller, he’ll follow this up by 2 games of zero receptions and a major injury.

I’ve gotten excited and subsequently let down by Darren Waller about as often as I have by Mrs. Bhamtigah.

3 receptions, 2 TDs

This is like the morons blowing their faab on Tre Tucker last week.

Malik Washington is the better add.

Maybe so with Washington but Waller could become a safety blanket for Tua with Hill being out

I think it’s woody by a pretty large margin.

Just remember Jonnu Smith was a must start at te last year with the dolphins.
2 tds isn’t replicable but I expect his targets to go up especially with hill out.

His setup is everything you want in FF.

-Bad team that will be in shootouts/playing from behind/lots of garbage time
-Effective offense with a QB that isn't totally worthless
-Top 3 option in the offense
-Offense has a proven track record of making the TE extremely relevant

Now will he dominate with his injury and retirement history? I don't know but it is a terrific setup.

Great synopsis, but I would also add the fact that the TE position is a complete dumpster fire and even if it's a small chance, it's worth blowing some FAAB for a hope of getting production there. And the fact that Waller is a great athlete and looked to be moving pretty good. Tyreek getting injured is what makes it feel like you're not just chasing the TDs. That's a lot of targets that need to be divvied up now.

He looked spry in his limited action. Based on what Jonnu did at end of last year definitely makes him intriguing, esp with Tyreek done

Was able to get him. I feel the same. Have Kittle on IR and Juwan Johnson who has a nice little floor this year but it’s even harder to trust any Saint.
