BK didn’t come here to win a championship, he came here to retire.

He’s lost. Mouthing “we need to hold them to 3” with under 2 mins to play, calling a timeout when Kiffin was letting the clock run before half, and thinking the damned penalty yardage would be added to the end of the play on an illegal shift or whatever it was instead of Ole Miss re-punting is football 101. And more importantly, thinking Nuss and the O line is a good fit for this scheme is mind boggling.

He’s a clueless boomer idiot who has no creativity at all when it comes to creating offensive schemes; he relies entirely on the offensive coordinator to do all of that.

No, I do think he came here to win. He has worked hard and accomplished some good things. But he’s made some major mistakes and I don’t think he’s gonna get there.

Everyone who said he was bailing on Notre Dame because he was going to be fired in a couple years were right. He left before they wanted him to, but he bailed while he could still cash in. Very smart actually. I thought it would work out for us, but it didn’t. Anyone who said this at the time was trashed. But it’s 100% true. People also wanted to deny he tried to get Florida interested. He did. He wanted out bad. We lost out on Riley and here we are. He bolted. Riley probably wouldn’t have worked out either. But at least he could do something on offense with the Louisiana talent.

Keep in mind we could have hired Kiffin…

He will not win anything meaningful here. He is not adapting to modern day football. The way he recruits offensive lineman is testament to that fact alone.

BK is nothing but an average/above average SEC coach that made a career beating crappy teams at ND. Woodward should be fired for a 10 yr/100 million contract alone. The guy has not nor ever will win a D1 ring.
Stability means 7 - 5 to 9 - 3 with BK.
Let's see if he can even win 3 of the remaining 6 SEC games against SCe, Vandy, AtM, AL, Ark, OK and finish 8 - 4 for his $10 million.

You need a younger energetic coach in this era of football. Kelly is tired. He can’t keep up

In the previous era Kelly was a solid coach. This portal stuff is kicking his arse.

Lots of idiocy on here. it's not age, it's not he's a boomer. He's a good coach but to win in the SEC you need great coach or in O's case..Burrow etc

He actually did well with the portal. But it’s becoming pretty obvious that he just wanted to cash out before retirement. Notre dame didn’t pay him shite.

You wouldn’t trade Kelly for Kiffin right now straight up?

Revisionist history.

He literally got an extension the year before he left.

He could've coasted to retirement at Notre Dame and been fine.

I’m pretty worried that this is the case to be honest. I don’t think he really cares about winning one here. He came cause we were stupid enough to throw the type of money at him that it would be idiotic to say no. Now he’s padding a huge retirement fund and apparently cares more about his real estate portfolio than coaching football

You have no clue what they paid him because they didn't make it public.

Do you k know how much that extension was?

LSU blew it out of the water. But sure. He’s hungry for a championship. Ok

Ok. You’re right. He’s hungry to win. I’m wrong. We’ll see how he does.
