Les by a wide margin. At least Kelly has a willingness to correct his mistakes although it may usually be a year late.

No one will ever reach the stubbornness level of Miles. He went years without making a single adjustment to the offense. Les is the guy that said you have to attack a team where they’re strongest, and this was after he got beat 21-0 by doing just that in the national championship game. Thats elite levels of stubborn when you still believe you were right after getting fired for it.

Kelly followed up a NCG appearance in 2012 with a CFP appearance in 2018 because he could adapt to modern CFB

Les was fired in 2016 after his 2011 NCG appearance because he couldn't adapt

If Les actually changed his offense there’s a high chance he would still be here. Or lasted a lot longer than he did till the allegations came out. He knew how to run a program, and recruited at a high level. Just refused to change with the times when it came to the offensive side of the ball. Which is crazy to think about because he was considered an offensive guy

Is there a difference? Is the admin gonna have to step in and hire an OC for him the way they did with Les and the DC?

We also had to do it for Orgeron. It’s speaks to the type of people we hire here

You can trash Miles and Orgeron, but both won titles. I doubt Kelly ever makes the playoffs here. He is lost in this era.

Not trashing them I’m stating facts about their tenure. We tend to hire more rah rah guys who aren’t necessarily expert at any side of the ball and are sometimes inept in that department.
