I’m looking for a trail camera that I can use at a remote camp, mainly for surveillance, as we’ve had some break-ins in the area where my camp is located. I’m aware of several cameras that offer cell phone connection and just asking for some recommendations. Thanks in advance.

There are lots of brands that sell cellular trail cams.
What’s your budget will tell you brand options.
Each one has a monthly subscription fee. That fee is set based on a data plan you pick.

Spypoint is the only cell camera that I know of with a free transmission plan. 100 photos per month free, more you pay.

I’m open to paying $200-300 range. No wifi at camp so will need a camera that uses cell towers.

WiseEye or Tactacam for cell cameras. Tactacam has a Defend cam designed for security. I have both cell cams and they have worked flawlessly. WiseEye is a local company in Denham Springs and their customer support is unbeatable

I work for a trail cams company but I want you to buy what’s right for you.
What’s the most important feature for this cam?

Set up my wise eye with a solar panel over a year ago. Haven’t touch it since and it’s been flawless
