Station owners like Sinclair and Nexstar never had much long-term leverage. ABC could eventually cancel and replace its affiliates ahead of the 2027 Super Bowl, which would significantly damage Sinclair and Nexstar’s annual revenue…

While Wednesday’s average of 2.4 million is well ahead of Kimmel’s norm (1.7 million), it marked a near 70% drop from Tuesday’s record 6.3 million.

6.4 mil is an outlier. Saying he lost these viewers is disingenuous at best.

Shocker

Everyone wanted to see what he sad after his ‘ban’ and he had Gavin on as the guest

Now it’s business as usual and nobody watching because nobody cares about him

So Jimmy Kimmel’s ratings have returned to what they usually average. Thanks for that critical update. I was having trouble sleeping

I bet Jimmy thought he could ride the controversy into forcing a renewal.

Similar to the way Colin Kaepernick thought he could use the race card to get the starting job back in SF.

There’s only so much hypocrisy, fake crying and non-apologies people can watch apparently

Yeah. Curious people watching his opening monologue the night he was back on air.

In other words, the TDS people who never watched before defiantly watched his return. And he's so unfunny that he didn't convert any of them into permanent fans.

Its crazy how many more views he gets for mentioning trump. 4.1 million views on this segment yesterday and 81k on the interview. Are people really just that into hate watching?

He should do an apology every night (wearing his old Karl Malone blackface getup).

Shocked he averages 1.7 million viewers, way more than I would have thought.

No wonder they put him back on the air. Hard to get average million+ viewers these days.

That was the last straw for all of those conservatives that used to watch his late night show, they finally bailed.

Dunno why anyone would think he was going to show any class or do anything more than double down again. People are suckers I guess

Sincerely, Kimmel cucks

you do realize the only cheering thread about kimmel ratings is this one right?

and it wasn't started to cheer his ratings, it was started to celebrate that his ratings dropped 70%.

just shows how similar yall are to the people yall complain about.
