Penn state is the most overhyped haven’t accomplished anything

Program in the country. They can’t beat osu in a meaningful game even when they are at the goaline. That got free passes to the national title game facing a running back only Boise state while undefeated Oregon had to play osu. Then Penn state got to play Nd cause Georgia wasn’t themselves and was clearly to anyone watching a better team than Nd and they still found a way to lose. Now they will be showcased like they are the kings of the sport. That whiteout has never meant anything. I cannot recall anything significant to come from a whiteout game. Maybe they knocked off Iowa one time. Maybe they win against the ducks but it won’t really matter until they actually win the big one. But it does matter cause if they can’t beat them in this setup…well they will still be in the playoffs cause the big 10 is so easy for the upper crust.

They have the same problem OSU did until meyer got there...Elite running game and defense but never great QB play. Haven't had an elite QB in 30 years (Kerry Collins).
BTW QB play wasnt the reason Georgia Lost to ND. The Dawgs got crushed in the trenches and lost on special teams.

Drew Allar is a top-10 QB in CFB. Is he elite? No but he's pretty good. They don't get to where they were last year without him

LSU will have played Clemson, Florida, and Ole Miss (2 of which on the road) BEFORE PennSt ever kicks off a single P4 game

That's kinda how Penn State is viewed, with skepticism until Penn State beats teams when all things are relatively equal.
Penn State needs this bad...otherwise they stay stuck in the "almost contender" like Notre Dame.

It should have been a warning sign when the kid who replaced Allar in high school broke all of his records but never got an offer from anyone besides Maine (and now plays for the University of Findlay). Allar put up big numbers in an extremely QB friendly system and looks like he still struggles to read defenses.
