The defense hasn’t given up more than 10 all season. Who would be worried at this point?

I think it’s a few vocal idiots skewing your perspective.

Defense is solid. Ole Miss won’t score 30. Just don’t have faith in LSU to score more than 30

Everyone says the defense is very good but the offense is shite. What are you talking about

Defense is fine.

The OL and run game are both questionable.

Good is an understatement. LSU's defense is elite. People keep forgetting that both LSU and Miami held Florida to a TD, and LSU didn't have their 2 starting LBs all game. LSU, despite bad offense, is still stomping on teams defensively. Forget FGs, only allowing 4 TDs in 4 games is elite. Only 5 teams that have played at least 4 games have allowed 4 TDs or less. Of those 5, only 3 have played at least 2 P4 teams. Of those 3, despite what people think, LSU playing Clemson and Florida offensively is better than Oregon playing Oregon St and Oklahoma St (2 extremely awful teams in general). Right now Oklahoma and LSU are neck and neck

I think a lot of us know this defense is capable of big things. But the offense has to be complimentary otherwise the defense will get tired. Defense needs a break at times.

The defense is remarkable, however as good as the defense is, the offense is just as bad.

LSU literally played the two best QBs of those groups. Texas has only played 1 P4 and it was Julian Sayin getting his first start, so they played a conservative game. Oklahoma played freshman Underwood and Arnold. Both QBs are better runners than passers.

Mizzu played a team in Louisiana that barely throws. They threw it 14 times for 4 yards.

When they played teams with a pulse, they've suffered. 223 yards 60% 2 TDs 0 ints vs Kansas and 64% 302 yards 2 TDs 0 ints vs USCe.

Klubnik and Lagway looked awful vs LSU despite yardage gained.

It's extremely undisciplined and can't tackle for shite per PFF, but the secondary is elite

Oh I think this defense potentially could be one of if not THE GOAT LSU defense. The talent and the coaching is there.

I seriously think this defense could be the antithesis to the 2019 offense.

Uhhhh, we are all well aware.

We are also well aware of our offensive situation. An injured QB that can’t drive the ball with limited mobility, a shotty offensive line and a now injured RB who doesn’t follow the designed blocking scheme. Hopefully we see a Berry breakout party!
