Ate lunch at the airport bar by where I live and the gay bartender went off on the QT+

I asked him to turn the TV off of Fox News so I could watch the Ryder Cup. He was happy to do that for the Ryder Cup, but he told me he was going to tell me "Hell, NO!" if I had asked him to turn it to MSNBC or CNN.
I told him I thought the folks at Fox were a bunch of liberal pussies and he went off. He told me he was gay and that he hated the QT+ers and pretty much everything else the left stands for. He also didn't trust Fox News, but it was a helluva lot better than the other options. All he wants to do is be left alone to live his life the way he wants to live it. I've eaten at the bar there several times and he has always been my server - I didn't know he was gay. Not just gay, but gay with a great attitude.
He said he serves 40 dinners at the bar every night and has done so 6 nights a week for the last 27 years. I started thinking that he probably averages $300 bucks a night just on dinner, and probably makes 6 figures, easy.
That whole interaction just made my day and gave me hope for our future. People don't like to be pigeonholed and told what to think.
I told him I thought the folks at Fox were a bunch of liberal pussies and he went off. He told me he was gay and that he hated the QT+ers and pretty much everything else the left stands for. He also didn't trust Fox News, but it was a helluva lot better than the other options. All he wants to do is be left alone to live his life the way he wants to live it. I've eaten at the bar there several times and he has always been my server - I didn't know he was gay. Not just gay, but gay with a great attitude.
He said he serves 40 dinners at the bar every night and has done so 6 nights a week for the last 27 years. I started thinking that he probably averages $300 bucks a night just on dinner, and probably makes 6 figures, easy.
That whole interaction just made my day and gave me hope for our future. People don't like to be pigeonholed and told what to think.

I’m extremely confused about people who bitch about Fox News. Every single time I watch it it is extremely pro MAGA. It’s been pro MAGA this entire year.
Fox & Friends is probably 90% MAGA
Faulkner is probably 90% MAGA and she does call out Trump when he does something stupid which there is nothing wrong with that

The five has always been 75% MAGA

They fired Saint Tucker Carlson. Therefore, many people here hate Fox News because they are liberal pussies.
Fox News does have some really questionable people that sure seem to lean left. Not including the actual leftists they have as contributors.

I seldom discussed elections with my gay college classmates or co-workers. But they all had a philosophy of wanting to just be left alone to live their life and you live yours as you see fit. That's a conservative mindset. Now, lesbians were different. They just hated the patriarchy.

Some of the folks running Fox are huge never Trumpers. Several other huge media personalities there are never Trumpers. They fired Tucker for telling the truth etc etc etc.
