We know the aren’t good at stopping the run… does Nuss have time to throw the ball? Our OL pass protection vs Ole Miss’s pass rush is a key.

1 sack per game is not that bad honestly if they’re getting a lot of QB pressures as well.

1 sack a game would be good for 129th in the country in 2024. That's not bad that's horrible.

La Tech has a better defense than Ole Miss.

Green evaded multiple sacks. I think it's decent, and I fully expect them to come after our RT.

It isn't. Their rush d is worse.
It's strength on strength, weakness on weakness.

Big boy Zxavian Harris has half of their sacks & he plays inside. Hopefully Braelin Moore shuts him down

Yes it is. It's close to dead last... regardless of how many pressures (not many).

I mean if a couple of pressures hit home it completely changes the average and vaults them up the rankings. That could happen against LSU’s terrible offensive line.

Very possible. But LSU's Oline hasn't been "horrible" in pass protections.
We are 52th in the country in sacks allowed. Right around average. We had posters claiming Clemson would get 5/6 sacks against us in the opening game and we've allowed 6 sacks all years.

Their numbers may be affected by opponents ability to run on them and not have to throw as much. Not supported by any data, just saying.

I was curious if LSU's opponents have had their best performances against LSU given our perception of the underperforming Oline. I asked ChatGPT and this is what I found:

Results (through 4 games)
Clemson. vs. LSU 1 sack. Avg 3 (4 vs Troy; 1 @GT; 4 vs. Syracuse)
Louisiana Tech vs. LSU 2 sacks. Avg 2.33 (5 vs SE La; 1 vs NMSU; 1 vs USM)
Florida vs. LSU 0 sacks. Avg 1 (1 vs LIU; 1 vs USF; 1 @ Miami)
Southeastern Louisiana vs. LSU 2 sacks. Avg 2.33 (3 vs La Tech; 0 vs Murray St; 4 vs Miss. Valley)
