DC is much cleaner and safer thanks to the national guard.

National guard being there really changed the vibe.
Only saw a couple of homeless people while I was there.

There was far less garbage than I've seen in any big city, or previous trips there a few years ago.

Deploying the national guard was definitely the right call.

Absolutely. That is why it is no longer a story.

It’s crazy how we don’t just do this across the country. It’s clearly working..

Why do Dems want their homes riddled with shite and crime? It’s mind boggling honestly

Of all cities, our Nations Capital should not be filled with shite, it belongs to the nation.

Congress needs to end the DC government.

No one living in DC should qualify for ANY government welfare.

It is still filled with shite, they just aren't sleeping in the streets.

I was on Capitol Hill last week for a few days.

Cleanest, quietest I’ve ever seen DC. I didn’t see a single homeless person in the Capitol area.

Agreed, I'm planning to bring the family this spring to see the Cherry Blossoms.

So what now, you can't keep the Guard in the city permanently, or put the National Guard in every major city in America? Do we want a police state instituted throughout the country?

Last time I was there, there were homeless people all over, on the metro, a lot of litter.

This time I saw two homeless people in the metro in a couple days, and both seemed like they had only been there for a little while.

Now they could have moved to other parts, but it definitely felt different, especially at night.

Because cleaning up threatens the victim card being played, shines a spotlight on evil, and removes a lot of plebeian control the Dems at the top have enjoyed for 100 years.

So, where do all the homeless go? Are they bussing them somewhere. I live in spokane and in the past three months the homeless population downtown has exploded.

The Metro is dirt cheap, for a couple bucks they can get out into Maryland which is still woke.

These people have money, they get enough to buy drugs.

But let's not pretend it's kind to let them live on the streets.
