Top Kremlin official Dmitry Medvedev issued a fiery nuclear warning to the U.S. after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said officials in Moscow should learn where their nearest bomb shelter is if they don't end Russia's war.

Zelensky, in an interview with Axios, said U.S. President Donald Trump had given his explicit backing to Ukrainian strikes on Russian targets such as energy infrastructure and arms factories, and that if Kyiv receives more long-range American weaponry, then "we will use it".

"The Kiev drug addict said the Kremlin should know where a bomb shelter is so its occupants can hide when he uses long-range American weapons," Medvedev, who is deputy chairman to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the Kremlin's Security Council, and is himself a former president and prime minister of Russia, in a post on X

quote:

"What the freak needs to know is that Russia can use weapons a bomb shelter won't protect against. Americans should also keep this in mind."

Your thread title was a wee bit alarming.

I thought about that. I copied it from the title of the article and removed the word Trump. Because it wasn’t a threat at Trump.

You seem fine with posturing involving nuclear weapons over Ukraine.

Can you help me to understand why you’re good with that?

I would’ve let Ukraine and Europe figure it out the minute they intentionally sabotaged the Alaska peace talks.

It is a reckless policy to escalate a war with a nuclear-armed nation.

Our nuclear-armed submarines are a vastly bigger threat to Russia than they whatever saber-rattling they do.

Shew, I feel better now. This will bring me comfort after I have already been vaporized by a Russian nuke.

you'll show em! these colors don't run! you understand that your mobile home is going to offer even less protection from a nuclear bomb than it does from a tornado, right?

Both sides now have 100 of of rockets with multiple nuclear warheads, but lets just discuss an old one from 1961 the Tsar Bomba, the largest one actually detonated by anyone. They actually did not engage the 3rd stage, which would have doubled, thats doubled the impact, due to fear of fallout. But......

It was 1,570 times the size of hiroshima and nagasaki combined. 10 times ALL the explosives during world war 2.

Somehow the argument of "If he kills me my daddy will kill him" doesnt hold a lot of water when you are indeed dead.

Must suck to be a Putin fan boy these days. The Great and Powerful Czar Vladimir defeated by swarms of $100.00 drones that anyone could buy online. Amazing

you understand that russia has 14 ballistic missile subs the exact same number that the US has. plus we haven't fought a war in a country with an air force since veitnam with a credible navy since WW2. when was the last time we won a war. we've been chased out of afghanistan, libya, iraq, syria by teenage boys in light duty toyota pic up trucks and yet your brimming with confidence!

We need Ukraine as a test facility for drone research.
