One Battle After Another

What a piece of shite. This is an Antifa fantasy wet dream of a movie. The movie kicks off with a raid of an immigration facility. The story is so full of shite it was a real waste of time.
It's a racist, white people are the devil and hate blacks, type of film. They depict whites as cultish narcists in some weird organization that praises Christmas or some shite. They even say "Hail St. Nick". Clearly this is a substitution for something else.
Leo plays a druggie loser anitfa bomb builder who falls in love with a righteous piece of shite black lady who fricks Sean Penn and leaves Leo to raise someone else's baby. Sean Penn plays a caricature of a military man who falls in love with said black lady. She leaves him and flees to Mexico after getting caught robbing a bank and murdering some security guard.
It's all just horrendously stupid. Benicio Del Toro plays a human trafficking karate teacher. You really can't make this up and they depict these horrendous humans as heroes. It's disgusting. Leo and his illegitimate kid ride off into the sunset even after their organization being depicted as terrorists responsible for numerous deaths.
The film does its best to humanize these utter trash heaps, but dear lord, make no mistake, Goebbels would be proud at the propaganda depicted.
This movie reeks of Soviet era, communism is king gutter trash. Remember a time when Hollywood would blackball communists? Well, this year, they are about to award them the Oscar. The academy won't be able to help themselves with this self fellatio of a film.

I thought it was fun as hell. It's not PTAs best, but its his most mainstream film. Audiences will love it. Leo and Penn were great, but Del Toro was my favorite character.

What? The dream of your political past tearing apart your family? Of ditching your political values as soon as you can, for varying reasons?
It's hard to take apart your review without getting into spoilers for a movie that's only been out for half a day, but holy hell you might be film illiterate.
How did you sit through 2.5 hours of something and understand so little? Or did you gather up your talking points before watching and decide to stick with them even when after they were made nonsensical?
Regardless, this movie moves quick and it's hilarious. I can't imagine not laughing at the Christmas Adventurers, who make up a small portion of the "whites" (jfc) in the movie.

You mean the characters who openly hate black people? What didn’t I get? This movie lauds political violence and attacks right leaning, law abiding citizens. This movie couldn’t have come out at a worse time. It lightens the dredges of antifa who are openly at war with ICE, even killing one in Dallas just this week. Its lasting message is one not of hope, but of willful ignorance. Somehow these fugitives return to their home and carry the torch of wayward disregard? Benicio is a human trafficker. Leo is a bomb maker. These are not people to laud. Ever. It’s pure propaganda. So feel free, illuminate me with what was missed from this shite pile.

Saw it last night and it was an amazing ride. You don't get a chance to breathe until the last few scenes.
Not sure why the OP is calling it an Antifa dream. The revolutionists are lampooned just as much as the other side (the password and rooftop scenes are hilarious).

Haven't had the chance to see it yet, but it has a strong audience rating on RT. OP definitely went into the movie with his opinion already made up

I care none if this review is accurate or not.
I won't see this movie because Sean Penn has said numerous times that he does not want people like me to watch his films. Seriously, why would a degenerate scum, not to be considered human in anyway, like myself feel the need to watch anything the man is in?
