Duh, he's the better of the two QBs

Yea not shocked. Austin Simmons would've thrown more picks than Lagway.

He’s looked really good so far, but the LSU defense is a big step up from anything he’s seen.

They'd be dumb not to. We haven't been tested by a true DT QB yet.

Baker has 2 games with OM of film on him now, vs an atrocious SEC Defense and a good G5 one that he tore up. The offense is also the same as its been run, we aren't talking about a drastic TAM level change between QBs.

Simmons knows he’s got one of the best arms out there and forces things just because he can force it

His turnovers will cost us a game if he plays

Chambliss is a much better runner and ball protector

I'd just expect both to play. Lane throwing the kitchen sink this week. Think Chambliss is the better player, but Simmons certainly plays at a slightly different pace that could throw off a defense if they weren't prepared for it.

Trinidad & Tobago carried the ball 14 times against Arkansas and 15 times against Tulane. I'm not sure they want him taking that many hits against this defense, but we will see.

I'm surprised Kiffin announced it so early in the week

This has the makings of a Harold Perkins game.

Hope Baker can find a way to keep Harold a little closer to the box. I’m sure Lane will try to get Perkins split out wide and away from the play.

Chambliss isn’t finishing the game if he tries running 10 plus times.

Yeah this seems to me to be part of the chess match. Lane is going to do so much motion to get Perkins spread out, stretch the field horizontally to free up the middle, I think.

Yes, there is. 15 design qb runs last week vs Tulane. Simmons wasn’t doing this. Better hope we game plan against a running qb. Because it’s coming.

Why do people keep saying this? They gave up 30 points to south Alabama and 27 to Duke.

Bad teams. Our corners are really good and we can force the qb to have to beat us with his legs. I think he’s very over hyped
