Chicken, you heard the man. Get to it.

He must have told somebody important to frick off b/c it doesn't really make sense to have waited to do it today instead Sunday after the Tulsa loss.

There’s only one man who can bring back the magic.

Yeah that's the ticket! He should get his OC from back then too... who was it again? I think his name may have been something like Michael Gundy? Sounds like a great combo!

Or maybe he was nice and congenial to everybody but the people above him decided he wasn't going to take the program into the NIL Era. Dabo will be next.

Ouch. He'd probably have been a lifer had they beaten Iowa State in 2011.

The odds of him being nice about anything before he was fired are low. This is a dude who has been at Okie Light for all but 5 years since the mid 80s. He basically IS Cowboys football. On top of that he just said yesterday that he wasn't going anywhere.
For them to fire him instead of letting him finish out and retire doesn't come across as anything other than a "Thanks for the memories but go frick yourself" ending to his career.

Surprised he lasted 2 decades as their coach. If you look back at some of the great players that came out of that program they certainly underachieved tremendously year in and year out.

Its 2025.
Gundy is still a man and age 40 + 18.
The Ragin Cajuns will shortly be in the market for a new HC.
Y’all do the math.

My two favorite days of the year are Christmas and the day the coaches change board goes up

His fall, and maybe Dabo's if it keeps going like this into 2026 and beyond, should be studied a bit.
Won 10 games 8 times at Okie St
I wonder if Pickens was still around how different they would be as a program with NIL rules
