Their offense is admittedly explosive chamliss is a solid passer with real mobility. Will be a fun test for our defense

However, ole Miss’s defense is not very good whatsoever. Play incredibly soft coverage in the backend , not much of a pass rush , struggle to stop the run.

Arkansas was moving up and down the field and prob would’ve won the game if ole miss didn’t get a lucky fumble. With nuss looking close to 100 percent we should move the ball up and down the field with our pass game

We don’t have a qb who is a legitimate run threat. Our Right Guard/Tackle are a concern. Hopefully, 70% passing will allow for a few explosive runs

Well OM was playing against the #83 defense for ARK which is worse than our defense last year so that's something to look at. I think our offense can be just as explosive with a healthy Moore and Nuss. I think the addition of Johnson to the RB rotation is going to shake things up as he gets more comfortable. And I expect a HB pass at some point this season.

Would love to see curne get a shot. I’ve run out of patience with Davis I don’t think the kid lacks talent but he doesn’t appear to be ready his footwork is abysmal rn

Wholeheartedly agree. Pass game was handicapped by Nuss being hobbled. Him being healthy should lead to an explosive pass game we got too many playmakers and nuss is too good of a player. Johnson seems to do very real reading the open holes and attacking I think his running style will improve the run game. Also gotta give Berry more touches

They have the 16th ranked rush defense and the 6th ranked pass defense in the SEC.

Sloan needs to lean on the outside run early (which he never fricking does). Use the jets and fake jet motion to slow the defense down (or ant least get them thinking) and make them move side to side and tackle in space. We have the speed to get to the edge and this has consistently been our most successful way to run the ball so far. Use this and the pass to spread them and THEN try to hit them up the middle.

They have played Arkansas, Georgia St, Tulane, and Kentucky. The only team worth a damn on offense they've played is Arkansas, and Arkansas torched them

I think LSU - 1.5 is a lock. If this game was in Tiger Stadium, I'd take LSU - 6.5.

If you weren't arguing, you wouldn't need to feel the need to "just state stats."

Arkansas has the only competent passing attack on that list, and Taylen Green is as hot and cold as it gets. He showed that vs Memphis this weekend, where he threw 2 bad picks and should have had 2 more.

Also think about the fact that Memphis’ defense shut them down for pretty much the entire 2nd half and only gave up 3 points. It wasn’t until Petrino decided to run it down Memphis’s throat on the last drive that they finally got going again. That was partly due to Arkansas’ arrogance and stupidity, but it also shows that their offense isn’t as elite as some make it out to be.

I am honestly baffled at what has happened since week 1. I thought there was a lot we could build off of in the run game after week 1. But we have gone backwards in all aspects. We have OL making incorrect blocks, getting pushed back, and not being physical at the point of attack.

Then we have the blocks and our running backs make a wrong read. Its everyone top down that are struggling in the run game right now. I actually liked what the offensive line did at times in the run game but getting beat on a stunt, not being more physical, and not blocking the correct guy has happened too many times this year its really starting to frustrate our most talented offensive skill player.

Durham was so good last year at just feeling out the blocks and making the right read and getting vertical that I am actually shocked at how he has missed 8 holes in the last two games. 8/22 runs he made the incorrect read. Thats pretty glaring. Now a lot of that has to be from frustration early on where there was not anything to read due to the offensive lines inability to block their guy or create a push. But a player as good as he is knows he needs to be better.

What would I gain from saying the Ole Miss is 6th in the SEC in one category and dead last in another? Do you think that makes them sound good or something? Also, those stats are pretty relevant to the OP.
