I killed 2 deer with one shot. It wasn’t intentional but it happened.

If your hunting round doesn’t exit, youre using the wrong caliber/ammunition. You'll lose a lot of game if you don't get an exit wound. That's what produces your good blood trail.

My dad did the same thing. Shot a doe right as the sun was going down. When we went to retrieve her after dark, there was another one dead right behind her. .308

You havent shot a lot of deer then. I hunted as a kid with a 30-06. I had plenty of exit wounds with Remington core loks.
