Since preseason I have said I did not see anything this team did well. I know this is a rebuilding year but normally you would see at least one thing that was ok. Like running the ball or rushing the passer. This team after three weeks sucks as a whole.

Offense=not good
Defense=not good
Special teams=poop

You know the answer - we have NO real strengths - there is no phase of the game we do well.

We play Buffalo next week and have no real chance at winning. But I want us to establish something next week. Anything.

Commit to running the ball, commit to stopping the run, commit to blitzing all the time, commit to throwing out routes and slants.

Time to forge an identity!

It's one of those situations that you knew this team would need to suck for a bit if you want any chance for them to be good in the future. With the way the cap has been managed (which I blame the entire executive team, not just Mickey), you just knew this roster would be grasping for anything that appears to represent professional football.

The difficult part is, even if they did have a bright spot (a player here or there), it gets washed out amongst all of the other bad spots in the roster and there is absolutely no depth anywhere on this team.

We are head and shoulders above the rest of the league in pre-snap penalties. So that is something.

I'd argue that they cannot even do that well. Tanking implies you are intentionally losing to improve draft position. In other words, you need to have the ability to win games in order to actually tank.

Honestly nothing.

I can't think of one position group where i'm like yeah we have the advantage there week in and week out.

This team is so devoid of talent it's unreal.

Not even the best

NFL pre-snap penalties:
1. Minnesota 16
2. New Orleans 15
3. Tennessee 14

Tennessee has the same amount of penalties as us total but hasn't had their opponents commit many at all.

Tennessee:
31 penalties by team for 261 yards
14 penalties by opponent for 97 yards
net penalty yards of -164

New Orleans:
31 penalties by team for 211 yards
22 penalties by opponent for 164 yards
net penalty yards of -47
