With October and Halloween nearing, are there any new (or within the past few years) scary, horror movies you’d recommend?

This is a fantastic movie.
Clown In A Cornfield is supposed to be good. It's on AMC/Shudder.

The new Salem’s Lot on HBO Max that came out last Fall was really good.
It Follows (about 10 years old but is an Indy film so from what I can tell it’s only recently been hitting a lot of popular streaming services) pretty original concept and really entertaining
Terriifier trilogy if you like gore… like lots of gore.
Other than that check out the Tubi app. It’s free because they have ads but man it’s like walking into the digital version of an old school video rental store and they pile the horror genre in every October. Mainstream stuff, obscure straight to video/streaming content, awesomely cheesy material to legit scary as hell flicks- it’s in there.

Cabinet of Curiosities by Guillermo del Toro on Netflix 2022 is great. I watch each Halloween. Series with different stories. Hoping he was going to do a new one.

I'll keep updating my huge thread about this (with this thread now included) for threads like these. May request a sticky at some point closer to Halloween. But there are tons of different kinds of lists in that thread you can check out.
