Said Kimmel was wrong but said he shouldn't have been fired.

Bill has something in common. His show was canceled after he said the 9/11 terrorists were "brave" in 2001. This was actually worse than what Jimmy said but ABC obviously has a history of not putting up with bullshite that goes TOO far off the rails.

Jimmy should have paid more attention.

He pretty much gave both sides some shite. Said Kimmel was wrong in blaming one side but maybe shouldn’t have gotten fired. I mean, Maher was fired by ABC as well (which still ticks him off), so he isn’t objective on this.

Having Tom Holman on was great. Holman was quite convincing, showed patience, and got his point across very well - Maher didn’t have much to say to his answers

The rest of the show kinda sucked. Manchin was out of place (and old) and the MSNBC chick was annoying as shite - no flexibility at all (kinda hot though).

Frustrating: Maher had many opportunities to show Democrat examples of hypocrisy (“words” and freedom of speech) but chose not to use those - only Republicans.

I can't believe that that show has been on that long. The same with Kimmel and that goof on CBS who is about to be dumped. Time flies when you dont watch that stuff.

There's no way Maher's question to Manchin about running for President was serious, was it?

I'm sorry but no. Jimmy used his platform to tell an outright lie in an attempt to redirect blame away from the real cause of murdering an innocent man, all for political play.

Maher's comments in 2001 were very misrepresented then as well as in your post. He was arguing the fact that calling the terrorists who are willing to stay in the plane when it hit the building "cowards" dismisses how serious of a threat Islam and terrorism is, and he was right.

I agree. Many conservatives back then thought Maher’s “cancellation” was wrong. I mean, he could have stated it better.

Kimmel downright lied - the stations/network decided to move on when he wouldn’t apologize.

Is there anyway to watch the whole show w/o HBO subscription? I can only find edited clips. TIA
