A backcourt of Waters and Blakeney would have been very good. Mays was improving, but Soph Mays wasn’t as good as Blakeney

He was the true definition of a jump shooter, not really statistically valuable in the college game. Takes time to develop that. Would imagine Hornsby and Thomas had better jump shooting stats.

Yeah dude. He had things for days the entire athletic program had to cover for. So LSU left basketball behind. Probably the right move honestly from a financial standpoint. Blame the AD. You likely don’t donate nor have season tickets to football or basketball

It boggles the mind how many of our fans believe the NCAA has had ONE OUNCE of say so over major college sports rules enforcement since AT LEAST 2010.
The programs that care about winning and understand that all top players are bought (pre NIL, and spoiler alert: players are still paid extra under the table even with it), tell the NCAA to go scratch their arse.
Instead, our AD hooks up his in law (Emmert) by sacrificing Wade in a feeble attempt to make him look like he was "weeding out corruption " on his way out the door.
Major college sports have a close resemblance to politics.
