Update on Bentonville Charlie Kirk Memorial

I stopped by the memorial today. Most of it has been moved from the steps of the courthouse to by the fountain in the square. It looks bigger than before.
While I laid flowers and a card, there was a young man sitting by the memorial mourning CKs death.
We got to talking. He had met and talked to CK in person. He had no one to talk to about what had happened. His wife is liberal and pregnant. Lots of people his age are also liberal
So we just talked.
Made me realize that he was the reason God wanted me to go to the memorial.
I have pictures, but don't know how to add them to this post.

Yea it’s tough but the best course of action for him is a divorce and to make sure he gets the kid since the way is crazy and a terrorist.

I agree, but I’ve gained a bit of sympathy. If you are around my age (early 30s or younger), statistically ~2/3 of women are going to be very liberal. A decent chunk of the remainder are centrist or slight leaning right (mine is slight right). Anecdotally from friends in the dating scene, those who identify as conservative seem to expect more of a stay at home arrangement - which is fine but not realistic for a lot of men in our demographic.
The fiscal issues in this country are dire, but its the cultural ones that will dictate if we survive as a nation or not.
