Should LSU pursue Nico Iamaleava?

Put down the rotten vegetables and hear me out...
He was pretty damn good at Tenner his freshman year. Got entirely too big for his breeches after Carson Beck go paid to xfer (read: his daddy got greedy) and we all know the disaster that followed.
Well surely that has humbled both Nico and his idiot father.
He needs a place to rebuild his draft prospects.
LSU needs a transfer QB that can plug and play for 2026.
Nico can xfer immediately since UCLA fired their coach. He can burn this year as a redshirt, sit in meetings and learn the offense, and be ready for spring practice.
Tell me this isnt a Win - Win ?

Tell us without telling us you haven’t watched a UCLA game this year

not only downvoted to hell, you should have your account deleted for this.

Absolutely. His physical skills are off the chart
Let ole QB whisperer Joey Sloan coach him up

he's a mercenary. bad for the locker room.

He demanded a ton of money from Tennessee at the worst possible time…right after spring practice. Tennessee told him to kick rocks. I would hope LSU doesn’t want him either.

BK would probably be as good of a QB as Nico

This is a valid reason not to bring him in.
The "he sucks" narrative is just hogwash though.
UCLA sucks. He was good at Tenner - that wasnt a fluke. All the tools are there.
But yes, he might be locker room cancer.

CBK loaded the roster with mercenaries this season

he wasn't good at UT last year either.

I hope you set the all time record for downvotes

If he wants to walk on and make zero money I’d let him have a roster spot, but that’s it.

We don’t have enough money to get Nico
Posted on 9/16/25 at 4:10 pm to jcole4lsu
Heck no. Dude is utter trash. Was mid at Tennessee with athletes all around him. Sucks at UCLA.

No. He's fricking garbage. As a player and as a person.
Posted on 9/16/25 at 4:11 pm to jcole4lsu
Just type out transfer. No one understands xfer

Fool me once - Tennesse
Fool me twice - UCLA
Surely with Nuss' and Daniels' performance we don't need to go that route.
