I suspect the F 35 is engineered around the US execution of defense of North America. It is possible the Swedish plane is not. Remember Sweden just joined NATO. So if Canada continues with its hissy fit, then we will have to cut Canada loose to depend on Sweden as their direct partner for defense. It really is the elbows up resist hissy fit sh*it the Canadians have been doing. I don't like them one bit.

A stealth aircraft versus a glorified fourth generation jet. The F-15E is better and the F-35 much better.
